@miltonkirimiofficial: In our 64 years of independence, Kikuyus held the offices of President and Deputy President for the majority of that time — producing 3 presidents, 3 vice presidents, and 1 deputy president. During this time, Kikuyus have enjoyed the advantages that come with proximity to power: development projects, appointments, and influence. It is time for other communities to have their turn at leadership. Those who have supported Kikuyu leaders over the decades deserve the same support in return — let the region now stand behind and support the communities that stood behind them.
