@plantswithkrystal: A lot of growth already in a year and a half for big mama Monstera Deliciosa I often hear the struggles of propagating plants and how it looks easy online. Although, yes, propagating certain plants can be easy it doesn’t come with its share of issues. For my Monstera Deliciosa, forgetting to change the water caused a pause to my cuttings growth but once I cleaned it up, my continued care was a success! #monsteradeliciosa #monsterapropagation

I’ve had my Monstera for a couple of years now and I know she needs to be split and repotted. After watching some videos here, I think I finally feel confident to do it.

So I propagated mine and the bottom part of the stem (right above the roots) started to turn black. The leaves then turned yellow so I assumed it was dying and tossed it. Any idea what I could’ve done better?
