I legit do not tell people I play video games. I'm ON A DISCORD SERVER WITH PEOPLE WHO PLAY GAMES. I still feel the innate urge to hide my hobby even there because I am ashamed of the image that the gaming community has. I don't ever want to be associated with it.

I think this is partly why developers don't take chances anymore. like there's a lot of rinse and repeat games cause it works. like people dont want to really take the chance to make something new and fun cause they'll get ripped apart online
