people talking about the sirebond when this has nothing to do with it. Both Stefan and Damon tried to help Elena, HOWEVER, instead of trying to shelter her from almost every aspect of being a real vampire like Stefan did, Damon showed Elena an actual way to help instead of trying to change her. I don’t even blame Stefan because being a vampire wasn’t what Elena wanted and i get that he also felt guilty for it but at that point, sirebond or not, Damon was the only one that accepted Elena for what she was. That conversation that they have at the end of episode 7 is REALLY important, Elena says it herself that her friends, brother and ex don’t like her the way she is now and Damon says that he has never seen her more alive, and that is why he is the one that helped her the most.

i could never see delena it was always one sided from Damon Elena never loved him like she did to Stefan however i can see Caroline and Stefan now cause through the show Stefan was always their for caroline when she turned vampire when they totured her when her mother died so if they focus on it Caroline and Stefan would mean so much but after in the show it seems like Caroline obliged stefean somehow

Of course the one who can control her with his words is the one that "helps her" the most 💀 shes brainwashed to not accept help from anyone BUT DAMON. And no "she loved him before he turned" is gonna erase the fact that AFTER the transition Elena DOESNT BELONG TO HER SELF ANYMORE. Shes been completely hijacked and controlled by the sire bond. This isnt some "Damon loved her better as a vampire" it's legit Damon had complete control over her and her actions. 😂😂
