Have you heard of a company called Dynacare? They offer a p-tau217 blood test to help identify Alzheimer’s disease. They will draw the blood in Nova Scotia and ship it to Ontario for testing. I’m not certain whether it is the exact same test you’re seeking, but it might be worth looking into. I have zero affiliation with them btw. Best wishes!

My husband had that blood test last summer here in Ontario and it showed definite Alzheimer’s. Cost us $325 but a better option than a MRI when he is claustrophobic. Good luck to you.

I did genetic testing last month and got the results…I am NOT genetically predisposed for Alzheimer’s! My doctor now plans to test to either rule out or confirm Lewy Body. One step at a time!
