at the very beginning of my ao3 journey (like 4-5 years ago) i didn’t know what dead dove do not eat was and accidentally read a fic, got traumatised and STAYED TF AWAY FROM THE TAG SINCE THEN (without complaining and throwing a hissy fit because i didn’t like it) IT IS THAT EASY TO STAY AWAY PEOPLE

My take is they probably searched up for their usual 'dark romance' reads, ignore entirely all the tags the creator had been written including the most importantly Dead Dove do not eat and all those 'problematic' things tend to go with those 'dark romance', and when they found out the dove was actually dead, cooked, and eaten by piranhas, they throw a tantrum because their 'dark romance' or something is actually dark. I could do 3 whole years reading fluff and not once does I ever come across tags that teach me new way to put words. They search for it. There's no at all, any 'recommended' books unless it was by another reader. I am baffled on how they found it. TIL that not only AO3 got a report button, but too, a block button. How??
