Girl, you made me laugh out loud!! You are too funny! I'm the one who stops behind the white line and drives the speed limit. I'm also the one in the kitchen who measures with my heart. That's how my grandmother's cooked and how I learned to "measure". I love watching Miss Brenda Gant because she reminds me of my grandmother. And her little hands making those biscuits are just the sweetest thing in the world. That's how I learned to make biscuits. So I guess I'm a rule follower on the road in a kitchen rebel at heart!

I use the small graters for zesting and shredding fresh garlic. I also am not much of a measurer. I wash dishes by hand and I’m pretty sure I don’t measure because it saves me dishes. I’ve also been cooking for 40 plus years and know what a cup, 1/2 and 1/4 cup looks like

I decided I was gonna do everything by the book and I got me the glass measuring cup and have the metal ones for the dry. Then the numbers washed off the glass one. So now I just guess. It didn't last long.

I have to always use Pyrex measuring cups (for dry and wet ingredients), if not I mess up the recipe. I just definitely want to be just like you when I finally grow up!!!!🥰

No rules! Rules are for fools. 😂 I don’t just blatantly break the law. I may speed a little or not stop on the white line. I definitely don’t use the appropriate kitchen tool, follow recipes 109% or measure with the right measuring cup. I walk to the beat of my own drum!
