My boss complained I don’t stop and offer to get him lunch. Showed up 3 days in a row with my old waitress apron and notebook to take a lunch order from everyone in the room just to prove a point it was fucking weird and NOT my job. He never brought it up again 🥰

this is me at work lmao they put me on a 90 pip as a sup bc I was intimidating(black) and didn't say hi to one of my employees. I wrote them ppl an email about my day and who I said hi to etc for 90 days to where they told me to stop and forgot about the pip plan 😅😅😅

Sometimes my supervisor sends me an email asking me to email someone. So I copy her on the email and state I was tasked by (supervisors name) to email about xyz. 😂

I got told “you just need to be more assertive when coworker says something offensive. What am I supposed to do if you don’t stand up for yourself?” I sent my happy little follow up email to my boss “I will be more assertive when coworker says something offensive. Thank you for supporting me.” Then I went BUCK WILD on the coworker. When I got called into a meeting I pulled the email up. “Didn’t you instruct me to assert myself?” PAPER TRAIL!

same we had wfh Fridays and my boss started requiring us to make a list of what we did that day. I was so specific that she pm'd me like 2 weeks later and said I didn't have to turn in my list anymore 🤣

I told my manager once that I had some really bad foot pain and I wasn’t able to lift something for him and he said “if it hurt hurts so bad you should get a doctors note.” so the next day I went and I got a doctors note for 2 1/2 weeks. Looks like he had to be carrying those kegs.

I did this too about being on time…so I started getting there before the boss, knowing full well she loved being at the office about an hr before everybody so she could settle in. After a week of beating her to the office she kindly told me she enjoyed her time alone at the office and needed that time.

The way I overload a micro manager with so much information, they start to avoid me lol can’t micromanage when the information is already at your fingertips with prove. I do it every hour on the hour update lol I’m so annoying but it works

my ex boss would purposely text me a list of what needs to be done that day. so i wouldn't respond all day till I am about to clock out. i spam their messages with texts explaining what I did and picture proof EXACTLY HOW THEY WANTED. then id clock out & go home. I was later told I do not need to be so detailed. WELL EXCUSE TF OUTTA ME THEN because the job description does state DETAIL ORIENTED. he blocked me 🤣

CYA - cover your a**! 😂 I’m the same way. Our data director put my manager, senior,& I in a gc saying I had an entire day to handle a task, so she figured it would be done. I sent a sc of our chat & told her I never received an answer to my question she said she was looking into, so I couldn’t complete the task. I then started screenshotting everything she tagged me in that I completed & sending it to that same gc “so everyone is on one accord and has a copy for their record”. I refuse to let someone trick me out my spot just bc they’re miserable .
