I had a uni roommate like this in my third year in halls who played stupid rave music till 2am. genuinely destroyed me and exacerbated my insomnia. I had to ring in to the halls hotline twice before it got resolved and he eventually moved out. I have no idea what happened, got lucky I suppose.
