Humans are just NOT good at naturally assessing risk.
We're all so much better off when we understand the scientific method and apply it to assess risk, instead of acting on the last scary story someone told us.

How is it these people who say vaccines are dangerous because they aren't 100% safe, are the same people who say raw milk is safe because it isn't 100% dangerous?

There’s a higher chance of anaphylaxis or allergic reaction during blood transfusions, people don’t seem to care when they need that.

It’s the same reason you can’t sue a surgeon/hospital for standard risks of procedures

Hi Vicki! Coming from a family that fully vaxxed and marrying into a family that is anti vax it’s been really hard for me. I appreciate you taking the time to explain these talking points!

I have had anaphylactic reactions to several antibiotics... not the pharmaceutical company's fault.

Same reason you can’t sue Planter’s peanut company if you get a severe allergic reaction from eating peanuts.

There are also a lot of people who assume things that occur or begin around the same time as receiving a vaccination is attributed to the vaccine rather than the true cause because in their mind there’s a connection to the thing they can see rather than the things they can’t.

Same reason you can’t sue a peanut farmer if your child has an allergic reaction to peanut butter. Now if the peanut butter company failed to issue a recall after a known contamination issue and people were to get sick and die, their family could sue for the failure to keep them safe.

Isn’t that why they ask you if you have an egg allergy before you get a vaccine?

Also having a clear path to report and be compensated for an injury is a good thing. They streamlined the path to seek help. That is good.

if you're wondering why there's a special legal process in any circumstance; the answer is simple. there are exigent circumstances that lawmakers believe are important

I have a fear of needles, trypanophobia, and have fainted after getting shots. Is it the fault of the medical provider or the vaccine producer that I developed this fear? No, so why would I want to sue them for something outside of their control, if I could sue them at all? I'll tell them about the issue beforehand, and they will have me lay down for 5 minutes after. Issue avoided.

Because we know given the fact that we want such high volumes of people to get the vaccine there will be a small number who have reactions. We’ve set up a system as a community to provide for those people because as a community we’re asking everyone to get the vaccine. It’s a social safety net.

sure they did, they produced a product that caused the injury. any other product has no loophole out of liability.
those other products also haven't convicted everyone they are perfectly safe.
those other products don't shame people for reading about the product and deciding to not use it because of a possible risk
