He is a former member of the boy group Enhypen, formed through the 2020 reality competition show I-Land. He departed from the group in 2026 and made his solo debut under the stage name Evan (에반).[2] Following his departure from the group, he reintroduced himself as EVAN—a name he has cherished since childhood. He made his official solo debut on June 22, 2026, with the digital single album Ride or Die. EVAN (Lee Hee-seung) delivered a surprise live cover of Harry Styles’ smash hit “As It Was” during his performance at KCON LA 2026.
