@drhirahmirza: Have you ever been told you have a heel spur? Heel spurs are bony growths that can develop where the plantar fascia attaches to the heel bone, and they’re commonly seen in people with plantar fasciitis. BUT heel spurs can also be present in people who have absolutely no heel pain FROM the spur itself. So seeing a heel spur on an X-ray doesn’t automatically mean we found the source of your pain and it definitely doesn’t automatically mean you need it surgically removed. When I evaluate heel pain, I’m looking at the whole picture: where you hurt, when you hurt, what makes it better or worse, your exam, and imaging when it’s actually needed. This is so true I went to a doctor for my foot issue and I get these insoles that I feel make my feet hurt more especially when I walk for like 7 hours or 12 hours at work like they didn’t even help the issue
