@andreamarcellusofficial: Stop guessing what’s actually in your food. 🔍 Here’s how I read a label in under 10 seconds (using spaghetti sauce as my example): ✅ Added sugars — aim for none or very low ✅ Total sugars — okay if it’s from natural sources ✅ Fiber — check it, then subtract it from total carbs to get your NET carbs ✅ Carbs vs. protein — don’t look at carbs alone, look at the balance ✅ Fats — focus on saturated + trans fats. I want 0 trans fats, always. There is no such thing as a “good” trans fat. This one sauce won’t hit all my protein needs — and that’s fine, I’ll get it elsewhere in the meal. That’s the whole point: balance across the plate, not perfection in one jar. Confused about how to read your own labels? Message me — I’m happy to help. 🥰
Have you heard about the study that showed that Primal Kitchen and Chosen Foods were not using pure avocado oil in some of their products like mayo, salad dressings etc? Wondering about your take on all of this. Thanks!
