@shamrock.stocks: More Info: OpenAI is currently a private company but they have expressed a desire to go public to raise capital which poses a few problems. First of all, we just got a similarly large IPO from SpaceX which drained liquidity from the market - and SpaceX hasn’t even released all of its shares yet (video on this soon). Another IPO of this magnitude would be a real liquidity test for the market to sustain itself, and it may not pass that test. Add to this the fact that OpenAI is not profitable and is not forecasted to be before 2030. Will investors be patient enough to buy and hold in that uncertainty at that valuation? Will the uncertainty surrounding their IPO drag the AI trade down in value and drain liquidity from the sector in general? And the big AI question: who will actually profit from it? This is the OpenAI problem. For educational purposes only
I started AI dropshipping for the income, but the freedom ended up meaning more to me. Less financial pressure, more control of my time… completely different lifestyle.
