as someone who had these early phones....literally nobody was walking around with a spare phone battery. they were power efficient enough for the phones that battery life was never an issue. we also didn't spend all day room scrolling.

Removable batteries are better I’m not gonna argue with that but I prefer my phone to be waterproof instead of it costing less to replace battery especially when you don’t always need to replace, i personally had to replace battery once and it was the removable one and I have phone for at least 3/4 years

I never ever ever ever ever had more than one battery and swapped it out with a full one. That whole removable battery nonsense is not a real thing than anybody ever cared about. And no one kept those old phones for years and years.
