My thing is, they are lucky to have kids in school at that age. Let them be, it’s hard enough to get them to go to school, much less worried about the hair, facial hair, clothes and shoes. Let them be, this should be the least of your worries.

I worked a few jobs where they stated unnatural hair color was a no no. but the last one, mine was all over purple/black, which I told the manager that I would dye it if it waa a problem and he was like nah, no problem. then throughout my employment I had added different colors. the color of my hair has nothing to do with how I do my job. same with tattoos. I swear schools just want to make kids conform. if anything why are we keeping our kids from learning how to express themselves when they are young?

I think it was unnecessary to say the least especially if it wasn’t offensive. Yes schools have their policies but it could have been a warning first. It’s sad but this is our school system, which we ultimately have the choice to teach our kids or adhere to the school policies to avoid the petty situations

Yep, if you paid for that haircut, then he’s entitled to where the hell with what the fucking school say these days anymore if my children were still in school, I still do it my way I’m paying for it. I pay taxes for you people to teach just teach, but if the kids go to school all dragged out and no haircut, they don’t say nothing. We paid goose Creek Taxes go to school.
