@mozandmiel: Let me show you how to make crispy crunchy hashbrowns at home! This is one of my favourite ways to use up my yellow potatoes. I grate them and fry them into pan-sized hashbrowns. They are perfect for breakfast or an evening snack with mast-o mousir. Search “mast-o mousir mozandmiel” on Youtube to easily find the video instructions and recipe. Save this to try! Nooshe joon🥔🤎🧸 Ingredients 3 yellow potatoes 1 and 1/2 tbsp cornstarch Ghee or vegetable oil Salt and pepper to taste Instructions for Crispy Homemade Hash Browns Grate the yellow potatoes and place them in a bowl of cold water. Soak for 15 minutes, mixing with your hands a few times to release the starch. Drain the potatoes well, then squeeze out as much liquid as possible using paper towels, a clean kitchen towel, or cheesecloth. Let the potatoes air-dry for a few minutes to remove any remaining moisture. Toss the potatoes with cornstarch until evenly coated. Preheat a cast-iron skillet over high heat and add a thin layer of oil. Add the potatoes and spread them into an even circle. Press down with a spatula as they cook to help shape them and create a crispy crust. Once golden and crispy underneath, carefully slide the hash brown onto a plate. Add a little more oil to the pan, then flip the hash brown back into the skillet. Cook until the second side is golden and crispy. Transfer to a wire rack and season with salt and pepper while hot. Serve with Persian mast-e mousir for dipping. #hashbrown #hashbrowns #potatoes #fyp #breakfastidea
