it's because they've only ever seen the Edgar haircut, so that's the only thing that they expected. I don't know. isn't he like from a smaller town? he's not going to have the more popular sense of style. it's not like he's from Mexico City???

i dont disagree with the hairstyle itself but off the bat the way they drew and animated it doesnt seem to fit the rest of the animation. its very sharp with aspects of realism compared to his face and clothes being so soft and rounded. if they had dulled the hair texture itself and made it stick out less the fade and cut wouldnt look bad at all. its a pretty standard style

I live in a part of Texas where we are probably 40% Hispanic if not more. i see this cut on a huge number of boys between, I'd say, 12 and 15. it is so cute too! why hate on a freaking haircut of a cartoon character?? so many children that age and of that heritage embrace and love it! who is so entitled they feel they can hate on cartoon kids 🙄

Nothing wrong with Miguel’s haircut. He just grew up , he can’t keep the little boy haircut. My son had long hair and when he turned 6 he wanted to cut his hair and now that he a 11 he wanted to change his haircut to a mature haircut

honestly I'm not complaining but I kinda am aswell? lemme exaplain I don't think his movie needs a sequel the first one was so beautiful and had a well written ending where everyone was happy except the villain. I'm afraid they'll ruin it with this sequel but if they do pull it of I would be very happy the art we've seen does look amazing so I guess we'll have to wait and see with this one. 🙃

We’re older parents so we kept getting our son’s hair cut in a bald fade. He refused to cut his hair for weeks. Then he went and we let him tell the barber what he wanted. If he doesn’t have the same haircut as Miguel. 😂
