I love your message but I do need my knowledge gap filled. If I go to a supermarket I can buy meat cheaper than if I buy from a local farmer. Going through a store has shipping costs, middle man after middle man all getting their cuts but if I buy local it’s more expensive then the store and that is straight from the farmer/butcher so no true middle man. I would rather buy from the farmer but the cost prevents it.

I try as much as I can to support and buy from local farmers .. whether it be beef, chicken , pork, fruits ,vegetables & honey . I for one .. SO SO appreciate you ..& all the farmers , ranchers that put their heart and souls into what they do . And it’s a damn shame what the government is doing .

I want to emphasize how he treats this animal. When you buy from him or similar farmer you’re supporting humane conditions. I order from snake river farms but also recently had New Moon Ranch - there’s a clear difference in the taste of animals not kept in stressful inhumane conditions.

Another bias against local farmers is they make it really hard, pretty much impossible to buy local meat that hasn't been frozen. I've not found a single source, EVER. The gov rules for the butchers screw over local.
