Yeah I disagree with this one on so many levels :/ especially since “evil” is subjective “my moms evil because she never lets me do anything” “my dads evil for yelling at me” I’ve pretended to be evil a number of times. For the same reason people pretend to be good. To distance or approach. Love your content though but this one is objectively wrong

In to Kill a Mockingbird, the town believes that he is the town drunkard when in reality it's a bottle of Coke in a brown bag. He decided it wasn't worth the grief. Let them believe the lies they told themselves. The kids see through this. Evil does try to portray good as evil. The Karens that are looking for a power trip, so they bother the neighbors and cops over nothing, the aristocrats that demand conformity because they are afraid of looking different or being cast out, and the President that demands people bend the knee to him rather than him bending to the will of the People. Just because you have the authority to doesn't mean you are right in doing so. So yes, sometimes the immigrant says nothing to the remarks of them being a terrorist, sometimes the trans woman lets her parents believe the lies that they tell themselves, and sometimes the child says nothing in fear of consequence if they speak out. Then your friend turns to you to ask, "why are you masquerading as evil even though I know you are not?" and you give a short reply, "I'm not". I wish more of us saw the issues with the appeal to authority but I suppose these things change with time. You can absolutely have a good heart yet be called the devil though the comment goes through misguided by hate 💜 🏳️‍⚧️Take care everyone!
