i think the major complaint i saw from my end was that she used to express major anti china and korean sentiments so people were uncomfortable but i havent got the time to look into it yet 😔. the posts were in korean too, so idk if the translations were accurate

I'm so glad the mangaka of my younger years is doing Erha's manga adaptation. Those complaining really need to widen their scope and actually worry about the actual stake of the welfare of the writers and artists before their works.

I get that other ppl have different art preferences, but tbh this is a first for me hearing the ppl don't like ayano yamane's art style!! I totally agree sensei is a bit slow and suffers from same face syndrome, but beyond those things her art IS stunning! Its improved drastically since her dojinshi days in the 90s.
