she asked if she could sleep with me.... this absolutely broke me. Unless you've had to, as a grown adult, sleep beside your mother just to feel some sort of safety you will never understand how terrifying whats going in inside your own head is. She felt that scared of what was going on inside her she went to the person that protected her for her whole life, she was a little girl again.

Her husband was drugging her and then put those thoughts in her head when her mind was weak and vulnerable. It’s like what hypnosis can do. He manipulated her in so many ways. Her even saying she has thoughts of harming the children to someone was her screaming for help because she knew those weren’t her thoughts.

all these comment are SO CLOSE to understanding psychosis but instead letting it go right over their heads. saying patrick drugged her so that’s why.. no, you don’t need drugged. your brain is literally releasing the wrong amount of chemicals to the point it’s malfunctioning, then it gets to the point where the brain starts playing tricks on you… THAT IS PSYCHOSIS!! it’s like you guys refuse to be educated because you want some conspiracies so badly.

my view on everything has now shifted & honestly I wonder if her lawyer beforehand knew her mom was going to say that she didn’t have thoughts of harming the kids . I’m sorry but her mom’s one statement now has probably shifted THOUSANDS of people’s mindset on her daughter it went from she didn’t do it & to now she honestly may have. I think now it’s caused a doubt in the jury it was this build up of Patrick did it to now in one day her mom has changed the narrative in my opinion

I wonder if Patrick has been drugging her longtime + while heavily drugged if he would try to get in her head by plotting these dangerous thoughts in her?? I’m thinking this esp bc of lindsay telling her mom that this isn’t her? Lindsay seemed aware enough to recognize these “thoughts” aren’t her, but is obv out of it from meds so gaslit herself into thinking it was her?

I’m not saying she did it, but most women who go through psychosis is usually because they have lack of support at home. If you’ve watched other stories of moms who harmed their children during psychosis (Andrea Yates, Carol Coronado), their husbands were negligent and absent. They never helped and just piled on more things onto them!
