@postpartum.powerhouse: Yes — then I definitely wouldn’t frame the guide as the “next step.” I’d make it a separate resource for people who are earlier in recovery or want to send it to someone who is. 6 weeks post C-section ✨ We’re starting to build from healing → progressive recovery. Walking doesn’t need to follow one perfect timeline or number of minutes. Gradually build your walking tolerance while paying attention to symptoms. Things that may be a sign to modify or scale back: • pelvic heaviness or pressure • leaking • pelvic, abdominal or incision pain • increased vaginal bleeding • symptoms that increase during or after your walk Before progressing into higher-level or impact exercise, we’re looking for the ability to tolerate about 30 minutes of walking without symptoms— but remember, that’s a benchmark, not a race to get there. Weeks 6–7 can also include progressing your core + pelvic floor coordination, exercises like marches, hip rollouts and leg extensions, and — once your incision is fully healed — beginning gentle mobility and desensitization directly over your C-section scar. 🤍 Earlier in your postpartum recovery? We also created a FREE guide to help you navigate those immediate postpartum weeks. Save this for weeks 6–7 & follow along — week 8 is next. #csectionrecovery #postpartumrecovery #pelvicfloorhealth #postpartumexercise #csectionscar
