Ironically enough, a “crash” would signify that we’re in an economy capable of healthy correction, much like a fever correcting a virus in the body. What we have now is a malignant tumor exponentially growing at everyone’s expense (barring asset holders). So nothing will ever crash on paper, but everyone below the asset threshold will just steadily get hyperinflated into dust. Which then we either transition into a UBI Technocratic Feudal State or into a violent balkanized failed state that the “asset class” desperately jumps ship from. It really just depends on what your favorite flavor of “it’s over” personally is.
