Hey so totally okay to eat this in a plane, but next time peel it before you get on. Not the best idea to do things that spread juice/mist into the air while in a vessel with shared air. I’m allergic to citrus, and while I don’t go into anaphylaxis, I would be sitting there with swollen eyes and nonstop sneezing the entire time.

I thought we learned this in primary school? Don’t eat foods that could be possibly life threatening to people when we are in an inclosed space with strangers and/or are just in close proximity to them.

why is everyone acting like grapefruit is a common allergy? if the allergy was severe you would have told the flight attendants, an announcement would be made and you wouldnt get an allergic reaction...

I learned I was allergic to grapefruit on a flight 😂 Gal next to me offered me a slice, I said sure since I’d never tried it…. Thankfully Benadryl did the trick 😂

Grapefruit (a citrus) can trigger asthma and citrus allergies maybe next time you could use lemongrass essential oil it’s not a real citrus so it won’t cause any allergies
