Bet if she was white he wouldn’t care. She could be born to white parents who were born in this country but grandparents polish. She is white has a ln English accent and parents born in England. He won’t accept that though as she isn’t white.

So, I was born in Slovakia (technically Czecho-Slovakia). There for I am Slovak citizen. However, my nationality is Hungarian. Citizenship and nationality are two different things. I have also just received my British citizenship there for I am also a British citizen... but I am not English or Welsh or Scotish by nationality. That's said, people born in this country are definitely British citizens - doesn't matter the colour of their skin and culturally bc they were raised here and they dont know anything else - they are definitely British and that should not be minimised. And yes, some people can say proudly of their origins and some people dont want to go back to that and that's ok too bc they are proud to be British.... this debate is just this simple 👌🏼 🇬🇧🤜🏼🤛🏿🤜🏽🤛🏾🇬🇧

My question is what does the history curriculum covers in British schools? Be ause those who write test for the British citizenship covers the history and how the land was occupied by different ancestors from different parts of Europe.

Some people argue that Britain should belong exclusively to white people. If that is the standard they want to impose, then they should first define—objectively and consistently—what makes someone “English” or “British.” Would that mean ancestry, DNA, birthplace, or something else? Perhaps everyone making such claims should apply the same test to themselves before deciding who supposedly belongs. Britain is a diverse country shaped by centuries of migration, history and cultural exchange. National identity should not be reduced to the colour of someone’s skin. Racism is not a legitimate measure of who has the right to belong.
