They're his employees, he should be taking care of them. But, as soon as I have a home location that I can receive packages at, I am planning on having a snack and drink cart for the drivers that come to my home (rural area) - Amazon, ups, FedEx, usps, flex drivers, grocery delivery, whatever. I agree I shouldn't have to tip or offer refreshments, and I absolutely will not offer money. But, these drivers go through a lot, especially during really hot and really cold weather. Packages might be heavy. My dogs might bark (I won't allow them access to any driver, even though mine are friendly - too many drivers have been bitten or scared by dogs). Of course, I will also expect good, polite service from the drivers. And, the ones that provide service outside of their requirements (like, offering to drop heavy chewy boxes inside my garage), that will generate a cash tip.
