my read on the sisters and moms testimony is that while they witnessed changes, they had statements ( from the mom where Lindsay admitted what she felt) she trusted them to speak her truth & we have an inherent bias to our family. It's hard to see the ones we love hurt family. WHO ACTUALLY thinks the result is, what it was? Seriously. I think they saw Lindsay as struggling & sharing - knew she was seeing doctors & trusted that if it seemed MORE dire than what it was, they would be told....and they tried everything any other family would try to do to help. They called, texted and visited. Hindsight is always 20/20....but i couldn't convict because I firmly believe no family would actually leave IF they thought she would actually k!ll her kids 😭

The only thing I found strange about her testimony was that she knew her sister was struggling and they only communicated through text for two weeks before the incident. I talked to my sister almost every single day on the phone, not just through text.

Why does it matter what her parents did after the fact? She needed help before hand. Especially since she told her mom she had thoughts of harming the children.

I think as a parent you don't want to believe your child is capable of such a thing it's inconceivable .I mean what would you say to the woman you birthed if she told you she wanted to harm your grandbabies? can you imagine the bride that woman feels. the end result is the same for anyone that does this to their children ,your either going away for life in a mental institution,life in prison or death row and everyone else that failed to see it for what it really was gets to move along ,get married have more babies ,the parents will morn themselves to death and eventually none of this will be talked about and nothing will be resolved and then the same thing will happen to another family and the circle repeats itself. it's like they have to put a name to anything that don't make since ,oh you just had a kid well it's psychosis and they stick you on meds but back in the day they pretty much probed your frontal lobe and you became compliant and couldn't make decisions. so idk all of a sudden life's not that bad after all because I'd straighten my ass up fast if I thought for a second I was gonna get probed js

@Annie Tara: if parents of school shooters are found liable and face prison for not having stepped in and done something once they had warning signs their child could harm others, why can’t a SPOUSE be found liable? Patrick as a husband has a duty of care. He completely failed her. He failed to protect others. He must be criminally charged.

apologies should have started at 1pm today. this is an insanity defense. Friend, mom and sister and the board certified emergency doctor have all taken the stand for the defense. maybe this IS about just her care. And two $20-300 million dollar lawsuits. The prosecution is basically defense lawyers for the health care industry.

Lindsey was not telling therapists and doctors she was suicidal and or homicidal. She wasn't taking her meds. Lindsey manipulated everybody. Mentioning where the parents are living is to get sympathy from the jury.

She’s getting visited on daily basis by her parents?! So even after she’s murdered her kids she’s still getting above and beyond support. If she can commit murders and still have help she most definitely did prior.
