YES OMG im a freshman this year but I've gotten all As throughout elementary and ms, the best tip ever is to also try to get your work done during the school day, if you have freetime that should be your first priority

I’m taking all honors and one AP as a freshman! I tried to appeal for geometry but I sadly didn’t get a high enough score on my regent, we only had algebra once a week. I did pass the regent tho! I also am thinking of starting a specific club since my school doesn’t have this club yet and I think people would be interested!

does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do as rising freshman, starting school soon. Furthermore, Im switching to regular school after doing online all of middle school so its going to be a big transition. Im taking honors alg one, which doesnt seem so good imo. I want to get further ahead in math to at least honors geometry. But, if im transitioning to a different school setting should I just wait and see how my alg one course goes? Or should I start studying asap to get my skills up?

I procrastinated sooo much last year, and it didn’t effect my grades but it put SO much pressure to finish the last day before due date, so I’m going to change that this year! Also I’m starting duel enrollment and some different electives to explore more career options!

So happy that my highschool gives us times during the day to do your homework during school because they notice that a lot of us have after school jobs or at home responsibilities (there’s only 12 of us, it’s an experimental highschool.)

since everyone’s sharing, i’m taking all honors, maxed out all my credits, and taking an AP :) plus 10th grade english and Geometry as a freshman and i’m president of NJHS and a member of Tri-M (honors music society) with a few extracurriculars like newspaper which i might be an editor for if all goes well
