This guy seems pretty smart, but I’m very surprised that he comes to this conclusion and doesn’t take it one more logical step. Conservative C education as a precursor to making something. You cannot build a skyscraper if you don’t know anything about civil architecture, or engineering. Can be the most educated person in the world you could have a masters in 10 different fields of you like, but if you spend 90 years educating yourself, what have you really done? I don’t want to downplay academia, especially stem fields, but there has to be some sort of and goal other just being educated. He brings up Shakespeare and even Shakespeare wrote for other people.
