@yelpmsp: tell me your fair hacks! I’ll go first: planning my route ahead of time with the food finder on the fair website map & MN on a Stick app so I know where things are
Bring a water bottle, ziplock baggies, wipes, sanitizer and SPF. wear comfy clothing and shoes this is not a fashion event this is a marathon. I recommend a hat. Some booths still are cash only. Use the Blue book for coupons.

Jamie :
Parking is low key a nightmare, even if you go early it takes waaaaayy too long to get to the parking. If you can park and ride, park and ride

I always bring a gallon bag for the overflow sweet Martha’s cookies, a physical map, a physical new foods list, I look at shows and the times for the day I’m going and write them down, extra portable charger, umbrella, a water bottle, protein bars/ fruit snacks, baby wipes/ wet wipes, hand sanitizer, floss, gurunanda pre pasted tooth brushes, a small first aid kit and I always use MN on a Stick app

move a 5 minute walk from the fair like I did so I can just go back and forth with food and just enjoy it at home instead of the crazy crowd and trying to find some where to sit 😂

Bring ziplock bags, dental floss, wet wipes, advil and tums. Also freeze water bottles the night before and put them in your bag. They’ll slowly melt and keep you stocked with fresh cold water!!

go in with a game plan. one big loop for the day, no criss crossing all over the grounds. take breaks to sit every few hours, set a timer on your phone to reapply sunscreen.

I always buy tickets before hand. used to do cub but now like if you buy online in January or February its the best deal at like $15 they always post about it on Facebook. this is my 2nd or 3rd year doing it. also we always share foods we don't need two of everything unless is one of our favorite places.
