This theory is disproven. Yes white star line had a problem with insurance a year before the rms Olympic collided with a ship on its stern, the repair cost were expensive. They were around 7.5mil, but if they swap it out with the Titanic and actually suck it, they would get 5 million in insurance. Which is still not enough to cover the cost and also on the Titanic before it got the name Titanic it was called 401 during construction the number 401 is on the propellers and if you see footage of the stern wreckage, you can very clearly see 401 on the propellers. Also, the Titanic and the Olympic were almost identical but had structural differences. like the Olympic had different windows on the deck it’s gap with metal pipes holding it while the Titanic has small windows. And just like that the case is closed.
