As someone who works with people affected by addiction, I think there are two separate issues here that are important not to confuse. Addiction and mental health difficulties can explain why someone may behave in an unpredictable or harmful way, but they do not excuse abusive or frightening behaviour, especially towards someone who is pregnant and in hospital. The person experiencing that behaviour has every right to feel safe and to set boundaries. At the same time, publicly sharing someone’s addiction, overdose or mental health crisis can contribute to stigma and shame. Shame is rarely helpful when someone is already struggling with substance misuse, and it can actually become a barrier to people seeking support. There is a difference between holding someone accountable for their actions and publicly humiliating them for having an illness. People working in addiction services don’t simply say, “They have an addiction, so their behaviour doesn’t matter.” We look at both: the harm caused to others and the support the individual needs to address the underlying issues

I think this is wrong, on your behalf, depending on the circumstances this shouldn't have been posted if hes genuinely struggling and feeling suicidal he should be getting help not having this posted on social plat forms, this is why men dont talk about there feelings, if ive got the wrong end off the situation then ok but from where im sitting this isn't ok to post.
