Donny Schatz, sprint car driver, lives there. He has his own jet that he flies to his races around the country. He races about 80 times a year and flies to each race and then home to Fargo almost every night. He counts for probably 10% of the flights during the warm months.

Well, a lot of multi billion dollar companies are headquartered in Fargo. Plus there are a lot of subsidiary locations as well.

I used to work at the jet center. Customs might have a lot to do with it. A lot of cross country flights stop in Fargo for fuel and customs. You would t believe the celebrities that have made stops at the airport in Fargo

Fargo is a international airport, private international flight’s still need to clear customs and Fargo lets them do that quickly and discreetly. It also falls pretty close to under their routes anyway.

Pilot dude here. There’s probably plenty of NetJets owners in Fargo. But…it’s also a popular place to grab fuel. Cheaper prices, easy/quick in and out, good facility, middle-ish of the country, etc…

Its the easiest place to clear customs coming back from Europe so many West Coast people (lots of private jets in CA even though they scream climate change...) stop for fuel and customs!
