Alcohol advice I’d give if I wasn’t worried about hurting your feelings (from a cancer dietitian): 👉🏼 You might be dependent on it. If you need a drink to “unwind,” “cope,” or “survive the week,” that’s not social drinking. That’s dependence. 👉🏼 You drink to avoid your feelings. I see it every day. You’re stressed, anxious, lonely, overwhelmed, and instead of dealing with it, you pour a glass and call it “just one.” 👉🏼 You know it’s not helping. You feel worse after. More tired, more bloated, more shame. But short-term numbness feels easier than real change. 🙏🏼 You want to be healthy, but you won’t touch your drinking. You’ll eat kale, take probiotics, track your steps… but wine? Untouchable. That’s not wellness. That’s the thing we need to work on. 👉🏼 And if alcohol wasn’t addictive, so am my people probably wouldn’t be defending it so hard🙏🏼 Here’s what I want you to know: you do NOT have to keep starting over every Monday👇🏼 Inside my VIP 1:1 Cancer Nutrition + Lifestyle Coaching, I work directly with you to change your relationship with alcohol for good. I’ve helped previous cancer survivor clients go from: ✅ 15+ drinks a week down to 3 and still going strong ✅ Nightly wine for 15 years → now 1 drink a week with zero regret ✅ Feeling stuck in shame → finally feeling in control And we don’t do it by making your life miserable, expecting perfection, or telling you to “just have more willpower.” We figure out WHY you keep reaching for alcohol, what needs to replace it, how to navigate the moments you normally drink, and how to build a life where alcohol stops having this much power over you. So you’re not constantly thinking about quitting. You’re not negotiating with yourself every night. You’re not waking up wishing you hadn’t had those drinks. You become someone who knows exactly how she wants to live and finally feels in control of this part of her life. I currently have 2 openings for 1:1 coaching, and I’d love for you to take one if you’re ready to work on reducing alcohol and changing this pattern for good. DM me READY and I’ll personally chat with you to see if 1:1 coaching is a good fit 🩷
