Pizza places can do their best, but there's flour in the air and everywhere. You handle the dough and then every single handle and ingredient as you make the regular pizzas all day. I used to warn people that even though we did have a gluten free dough option, there's no way to promise it will be completely gluten free.

I’m a chef in restaurant . Gluten allergy has become the new trend. We get frustrated when no allergic people come in and say they are allergic. They order something I don’t want to sell it because it has the allergen they claim to be allergic to so when they see that I won’t send it they all of the sudden it’s ok to eat because cross contamination is ok. It’s stressful because real people with allergies really are afraid to eat everywhere. I like to take allergies seriously.
