i work at publix and honestly idgaf. its publix promise for a reason, they should’ve removed the sign! and yes human error happens, but again that’s why the policy is there

I used to work at Publix. 100% on Publix to remove those tags on ad change. They are very strict about it for this reason. Get your free stuff girl 🤣🤣

just FYI as someone who used to do this job, sometimes they leave the sign up because they are on sale again and they didn't get enough signs that week. no, they aren't supposed to, but it happens. so that 'hack' could be Intentional and you're not going to get anything for free because it is actually on sale.

Get your free cheese girl! I get pretty frustrated the first few days of the new sale because I'm doing publix promises left and right but im not mad at the customer. I'm mad at whoever missed SO MANY tags because they track the publix promises and sometimes question why there are so many 😭 Like well, dang.

as a cashier i don’t get mad if the tag is genuinely wrong it makes me mad when people tell me it’s wrong when you just didn’t read what the tag actually said and assumed instead
