My mom learned to sew from my great grandmother and grandmother in Czechoslovakia and Bavaria, when they weren't too busy just trying to stay alive during the war. Mom was an amazing seamstress, cook, homemaker, etc. I picked up a lot of her cooking skills but really wish I had more interest in, and had paid more attention to, her other skillsets when I was young. Can't wait for the big reunion !
