how do you know this isn’t painful for river? I have a brain and spinal cord injury and vibration is really aggravating to my nerve pain.

😥 he’s having a charlie horse/muscle spasm in his left arm….my calf muscles do that too sometimes and it’s painful. if you look at a charlie horse closely it is exactly that rippling movement. i hope he at least doesn’t feel that. may be why his eyes get so big when he uses the vibrations 😭😭

The twitching in his feet is muscle spasms- it’s a dystonic reaction. Involuntary spasms, his eyes are probably wide and he’s more vocal because it hurts. - sincerely a nurse who works with kiddos with anoxic brain injuries.

The amount of pain he must be in with his muscles contracting involuntary like that. I cannot imagine. I am praying that you are feeling no pain and only see love.

Those movements are not voluntary- they are dystonic movements. This happens when there is a brain injury present.
