Additional from a plumber - if you're sealing around a tub, fill the tub with water first and then seal. You want to weigh down the tub to account for future flex 😉

Okay so dumb question but, how do you apply the vinegar? Do you let it sit? And does this apply to the caulk in between the tiles too or just that line between the tub and tile?

Great advice and great job! One additional tip: Do this with tub full of water. When full it sinks slightly, which will pull on the caulk and break the seal. If you caulk under load from the full tub when you drain (after it dries for 24hrs) it will be in compression and the seal will hold.

Afterwards, get one of these and put some dishwashing liquid in it and keep it in your shower. That way you can give your shower a quick scrub a couple times a week and make it much easier to keep on top of cleaning!! Such an easy but effective hack
