Her pricing depends entirely on how juicy the information is. Basic neighborhood gossip goes for a few thousand Colombian pesos, pocket change by most standards. But her real income comes from something else entirely, people paying her to stay quiet. Her biggest single payout came to 700,000 pesos, roughly $175, from a man paying to keep an affair hidden from his wife. According to Miryam, the money adds up. She says the business has been profitable enough over the years to buy not one, but two houses. Her story went viral once video interviews started circulating, and reactions have split sharply. Some find her genuinely funny, a self-made entrepreneur who simply found value in something everyone already does for free. Others see something more uncomfortable, arguing that charging people for secrets, or charging them to keep secrets buried, edges dangerously close to something with a much less charming name.
