Take it to court state statute says a uniform officer has to issue the citation. You also have the right to confront your accuser. You can’t confront a camera. It’s a wasted 30 minutes in court, but they’ll drop it!

3% of that 100.00 goes to New Mexico, the rest goes to the OUT OF STATE camera company. We had voted against automated ticketed machines back when they had the red light cameras. Back then, a class action lawsuit was filed against the camera company, I joined the lawsuit and was mailed 300.00! So they paid me to run a “red” light 😳 Is anyone getting text messages from a debt collector regarding an unpaid ticket?

I got 2 in 2 weeks. One was 5mph over and the other was 3mph over 😳! I’m a single mother. Both got paid so my car wouldn’t get booted or anything. Now I’m behind on other things!

What’s crazy if a cop pulls you over he’s only allowed to charge you $25 for going 10 mph but camera since it’s owned by the city they’re allowed to charge whatever they want. It’s disgusting.

It’s insane! 10mph is the limit for most of the cameras btw. I’m sorry you got tickets for dumb reasons but some of these drivers are just dangerous. I was going down coors, 45mph and this big ass truck just comes FLYING up my ass and swerves around me and a few others and takes off all crazy. I hate this place, and I’m leaving. The flock cameras are meant to help find missing persons and crime and shit but all they are doing it monitoring us. It’s fucked.

They are trying to pass a law where they can take your car in public places if u don’t pay the fines. It’s crazy. They do let you do 4 hours of volunteer work if u can’t pay but this is some BS company just getting rich off New Mexicans

Dude, it literally has a posted speed limit meaning the limit of speed. Why would you do 10 over that when the speed limit says what speed is so in reality it’s your own fault if you wanna break the speed limit you deserve a ticket now granite I am on your side when it comes to speed cameras because it does stipulate that officer has to witness you commit traffic violations to ticket you.
