Yeah, so hard with minimum support outside the immediate family. I barely remember the first 3 months and definitely took the year to fully adjust. Absolutely worth it though.

Have a look at the Haven sites. They offer Monday to Friday breaks. Very nice locations. Worth a try. Whatever you choose, have a peaceful time x

Have you thought about Forest Holidays? Slightly cheaper than Centre Parcs but locations all over the UK. Beautiful lodges with hottubs very set up for familys I'd say, although I have never been there with a baby

Wells next to the sea in Norfolk. We go every February and it’s lovely. We always get a holiday let in the town but with parking. It can get busy in the day but in the evening it’s quiet. There’s the beach close and lots of walks around. Lots of nice little towns around as well. Good luck in your search

What about a forest holidays lodge? They have them all over, I got to one in Scotland but they have loads in England. Luxury log cabins with a large hot tub, dog friendly, in the forest beautiful walks, there’s a retreat for food and drinks and can bring the dog. Can get masssge therapists to the lodge it’s amazing

Wiltshire is good for dogs AND kids. Cotswold parks have ‘beaches’ that give you a simulated beach day. But within the countryside. In term time it’s wonderful.
