I remember my first death, after my house got broken into within the first 15 seconds I ditched town and left for the woods. I found a set of train tracks before ditching that to for a large clearing, I found a clothing store before nightfall and snuck in. They saw me and started to break down the bathroom door, I was sat there for a few hours red eyed pointing my rifle to the door not knowing when it would break, eventually it gave away and there were to many to kill. I got bit and ended up limping for the rest of the night slowly bleeding out before I accepted my fate and ended it with my gun. That game scared me like I had never been scared before

I was three months in, living in a Muldraugh warehouse, when a helicopter event drew a massive horde right to me. I retreated upstairs and locked myself in a windowless storage room, listening to them smash the garage doors below. For hours, I just sat in the dark aiming my shotgun, watching the door shake until it finally splintered open. There were way too many to kill. I got torn up trying to break through the crowd, managed to stumble out into the hallway, and spent my final moments limping downstairs heavily bleeding before the screen went black.

I remember the first time I played I didn’t realize that after you died, “new character” didn’t mean new game, so imagine my surprise when a fully armored zombie smashes through the window of the police station and sprints after me down the street. I hadn’t spawned realized I spawned in the same area cause I wasn’t able to play for a few days. I found out it was me because of the key ring.

My first death was getting lost in the woods after losing my house to zombies after successfully stocking up on some canned foods,, i had ran so far that i got so exhausted and it started raining and i was severely injured i had to take sleeping pills and alcohol to end the run LOL

I once had a ten day play through that ended when I tried to kill one of my chickens with my katana, somehow it opened up a black hole that spawned hundreds of chickens. I jumped in my truck and rammed it full speed into the chicken black hole hoping to kill some of them, instead my game crashed and the save data got corrupted 😭

my first death I got chased by runners for 15 minutes with no house that was safe to go too and finally got caught and got my leg broken which I was slowly was chased down and died fighting 25 zombies at once, at which I found the zombie version of myself in my next run ripped to shreds with my original loot in my backpack.
