@buddhism066: Buddhism does not turn away from pain. It meets it with compassion. These slides explore depression through the Buddha's wisdom and the story of his own tears. May they bring peace to your heart. Amitofo 🙏 #fyp #foryoupage #buddha #buddhism #viral

this was so lovely to read. for the past couple of months, i’ve really been wanting to learn about Buddhism and understand its teachings and the way of life behind them but i don’t know where to start. i feel like i’ve been searching for something deeper lately, and i’d really love to learn more and approach it with an open heart.

what early text u r referring to ? the tripitaka mention this war but lord was already passed away. he wasn’t there to cry. also lord buddha and bodhisathwa are two different figures. bodhisathwa as a human being could’ve cried but lord supreme buddha is the surrowless one. he doesn’t cry. he has no mental pain.

佛法 :
Many people have often messaged me on TikTok asking me, 'How can I overcome suffering?' And I understand that question so deeply. The truth is, you cannot simply overcome it. That is the first lesson and it is not meant to discourage you. It is meant to free you. Suffering is a part of life. It is not your fault. It is not a punishment. It is simply a part of being human. The Buddha did not teach us to escape suffering. He taught us to understand it. To sit with it gently. To see where it comes from. To walk the path that leads to its end. You do not overcome suffering by fighting it. You overcome it by seeing it clearly. By not running from it. By holding it with compassion. That is the way of the Buddha. And you are not alone on this path.
