@itsbrittanyblackwell: Your school-year routine cannot depend on the summer version of you. Before your first full week back, make three quick lists: 1. What becomes less available—time, energy, quiet evenings? 2. What absolutely has to keep happening? 3. What can be simplified, shared, automated, or dropped for this season? The goal is not to squeeze teaching into the life you had in July. It’s to make a few decisions now that future-you won’t have to make while tired, hungry, and already behind. I’m sharing the real-life systems I’m resetting for the school year next—including the meal-planning mistake that used to set our whole week up to fail. Follow along and reset yours with me. 💜

I agree! Last week was my first week back with the students and my family suffered. So on Sunday I sat down and came up wi the meals for each night went shopping for them. The stress of “what is for dinner” is not a stress this week. LOL

Yes! Planning dinners out Sunday with the fam, including who is cooking each night and I’m making sure to stick to my gym routine not just for my health but also my sanity.
