I got fined so many times for missing events to go to work. I worked to pay for this sorority. Dropped after a year and I was SHAMED for it. Big never talked to me again. It’s not worth it.

My country doesnt have sororitys, can someone explain to me what are the perks of one or why would you pay so much to be in one when the comments say they skip lot of these events? I saw so woman say they do film nights or something similar but can you not do these activities on your own or with friend you made in class?

Honestly that’s legit. Luckily, but also how fucking mean, leadership didn’t find me pretty enough to recruit PNMs so they put me in a bump group of other girls they also didn’t find pretty enough and hid us in a holding room. The only time we were allowed to come out was if the main bump groups (the popular girls) needed a break.
