Right, I’ve been at it again – playing with a bit of air-dry clay this time – and wait ‘til you see these little trinket dishes I’ve made! They are SO simple, super cute, and honestly, they look like something you’d pick up in a boutique shop. So here’s what I did… I rolled out a slab of air-dry clay nice and even, then grabbed a pretty napkin. You know how they’ve got those layers? Well, you want to peel it apart so you’re just left with the top, patterned layer. Pop that straight onto your clay and gently roll it in – it transfers the design beautifully and looks really fancy with no effort at all! Next up, grab a cookie cutter (I used a round one, but you could do hearts, flowers, whatever you fancy!) and cut out your shapes. Then, to give them that lovely little curve, just press them gently into a cupcake tin. That way, when they dry, they’re not flat – they’ve got that gorgeous dish shape that’s perfect for keeping rings, earrings or little bits and bobs in. Now, once they’re dry, here’s where the magic happens… I went around the edges and the bottom with a metallic paint marker – gold, obviously, because you know I can’t resist a bit of bling ✨ – and then sealed the whole top with a layer of tacky glue (you could also use Mod Podge if that’s what you’ve got at home). It gives them a lovely sheen and makes them feel finished and polished. And honestly – how CUTE are they?! 😍 They’re such a fun little project, don’t need much in the way of supplies, and they make brilliant handmade gifts too. Imagine a few of these wrapped up in tissue paper for a friend – they’d never believe you made them yourself out of a bit of clay and a napkin! #CraftingWithSara #AirDryClay #DIYTrinkets #HandmadeWithLove #CraftInspo #EasyCrafts #SaraDaviesCrafts #ClayCrafts #DIYHomeDecor #fyp #trend #trending
