@anatomymuscl: THAT PAIN ISN’T WHERE YOU THINK IT IS… 👀 Pain on the outside of your hip doesn’t always mean the hip joint itself is the problem. Deep underneath the skin is the greater trochanter — a bony landmark surrounded by important gluteal tendons that help stabilize your pelvis during walking, stairs, and single-leg movements. When these tissues become sensitive, even walking, climbing stairs, getting out of a chair, or sleeping on that side can become uncomfortable. And here’s the part most people get wrong… More stretching isn’t always the answer. Understanding the anatomy, managing load, and gradually building strength can be important parts of a rehabilitation approach — depending on the underlying cause. 🧠 Your pain has a location… but the anatomy tells the story. 👇 Where do you feel it most — OUTSIDE of the hip or DEEP inside the joint? 💾 Save this for later and share it with someone who has hip pain. Educational content only — not a diagnosis or individualized medical advice. If pain persists or worsens, consult a qualified healthcare professional. #HipPain #PhysicalTherapy #Rehabilitation
