1. There is another timeline. 2006. Ten years ago aka the backup. It will be revealed something happened in 2006 (96,06,16,26). I’m thinking it’s Paralax infecting Hal.

i think he’s either not even dead or he’s being brought back somehow hal is too important a character to just kill this early he doesn’t need to even be a lantern i just simply want him there as a mentor kyle chandler is so goood in that role i know we got more content with him either way but if he’s truly dead that means we only get 1 season of hal and that’s it unless they do some sort of prequel but i doubt it.

so not only are we getting rid of Hal, but presumably by the end of this season Guy is gonna lose the ring to John? So we'll end up with just one Grenn Lantern? Why not have all 3 of them (and later more) being Lanterns at the same time. Comics don't use this "can't have more than one Lantern in one sector" excuse since a long time

Well duh. If anyone knows anything of comics lore Hal Jordan doesn’t beat paralex he becomes paralex and the full embodiment of the yellow power of fear and destroys all but 1 of the gardians and damaged the main power battery core. Slowly leading into blackest night and then the white lantern story arc.
